There are lots of springs with brown color in the exotic Chapada dos Veadeiros, the highest peak of Goiás. Incredible mountains of more than 1500 meters, you not only have the most spectacular waterfalls of the center-west region of the country – some of them 120 meters high - but also the untouched Cerrado and the beautiful trees. Slidings, canyons and the Vale da Lua (Moon Valley), with landscapes from another world, make this the perfect place for trekking, rappel and canyoning lovers.
National park since 1961 and Patrimony of Humanity since 2001, Chapada dos Veadeiros has a unique energy that you can notice from the beginning. Less than 250 km from the Brazilian capital, at Chapada you can swim in wells and waterfalls of up to 80km and refresh yourself in transparent rivers while trekking.
Vale da Lua, which is not in the park, is impressive. The stones are sculptured by the water and look like coming from another planet: shining during full moon nights.
Veadeiros is perfect for the ones who love real adventure combined with impressive scenery. At the park you can swim in huge waterfalls, watch almost 300 species of birds, see big animals of the Cerrado, bike around incredible landscapes, make rappel or even ride a horse.
The mysticism is another label of the region. Almost nowhere you will see huge crystals coming out of the land, next to the vegetation.

The Cerrado, that occupies almost 25% of the Brazilian territory, is like a savanna in tropical weather. This beautiful region is home for 800 species of birds and almost 200 mammals.
Cerrado has about the size of five European countries and has one of the most incredible varieties of flora along the country, with more than 10 thousand species of plants. Its landscape, perfect for practicing adventure tourism, is crossed by crystalline rivers: ideal for baths while trekking. The Cerrado varies a lot along its almost 2 million square kilometers through 11 Brazilian states.
Cerrado is one of the most important biomes of the country, mainly because it is one of the oldest. You can discover anteaters, armadillos, wolves and almost 1 thousand species of butterflies. The region still has one of the main water sources of the whole Latin America: Platina, San Francisco and Amazon Basin.
